DOCENTS
The Bechtler Museum of 注册注册永利皇宫皇宫 Art continually seeks volunteer docents to enhance the visitor experience. Bechtler docents possess a passion for visual art, embrace art as a means of creative fulfilment and seek to share their experiences with others. All docents must be museum members at the individual level or higher. Interviews are required for acceptance into the training program, as is a one-year commitment to the museum and at least twelve tours throughout the year. Prospective docents are also required to attend at least six of the eight training sessions held this fall and winter. Each training session is held from 6-8 p.m. 2020/2021 dates coming soon.
VOLUNTEERS
Volunteers provide a valuable service to the museum and its visitors. In return, volunteers receive behind-the-scenes access to museum operations and the opportunity to surround themselves with modern art masterpieces.
A variety of volunteer opportunities exist at the Bechtler including providing customer service, leading tours, supporting administrative tasks and facilitating art experiences.
Prospective volunteers should be passionate about art, enjoy interacting with the public, and be able to make a time commitment to the institution. For information about volunteer opportunities, email education@bechtler.org.
